NEW YORK — Robin Walter’s “Little Mercy,” a debut assortment of verse that celebrates the pure world, has received the 2024 Academy of American Poets’ First E book Award.

Walter will obtain $5,000 and a six-week residency in Umbria, Italy. The academy established the primary e-book award in 1975, with earlier winners together with Jenny Xie, Alberto Rios and Sally Van Doren.
