The chef Samin Nosrat lives by the concept meals is love. Her Netflix sequence, “Salt, Fats, Acid, Warmth,” and the James Beard Award-winning cookbook that impressed it, had been about utilizing meals to construct group and forge connections. Since then, all of her artistic initiatives and collaborations have targeted on inspiring folks to prepare dinner, and eat, with their associates and family members.

After the latest lack of her father, Samin has gained an excellent deeper understanding of what it means to savor a meal — and even an hour — with family members. This week, she reads an essay about precisely that: “You Could Need to Marry My Husband” by Amy Krause Rosenthal. It’s one of many most-read Trendy Love essays ever.
